When the bird is this close...it's amazing how close this was...shot with a small point&shoot camera in an urban in HIlton Head, South Carolina, USA. Seemingly no nice of the passerbys and the path.

Nice spotting. Terrific capture of the bird with its wings all spread. Amazing that those webbed feet can hold a branch.
