Pine Cone Complexion

The first assignment for the 5th week of the workshop was to put a pattern or design from one image onto another...or actually to put it below the main image and then use a mask in PS to reveal it.
Ok, so this one was a shot I took of Ron, my husband, for last week's "assignment" - portrait in open shade. I converted that to black & white and "revealed" the underlying layer...an image of pine cones. Happy October & Halloween.
It's interesting to see how these composites work for exif info...they take the data from one image, I assume the one that PS considers the 1st one..the pine cones were taken with one camera last June and the portrait with another last week.
Great composit
