Sand Dune = chromed by granagringa

Sand Dune = chromed

Hard to believe this started out as a brown/tan sand dune with shadows. I tried the "artistic' filters from the filter gallery but none seemed to really have a dramatic effect on this image. The "sketch" choices worked much better and converted it to a b&w. This one is "chrome".
And I don't have a clue how to describe it! It's such a learning curve just figuring out which filters work well with which type of image. And who knows if I'll ever use any of these after this exploration is done! Hope you're finding this interesting (or boring for those of you who already know this stuff...sorry!)
The Chrome effect has added light and textures as if not from this world:-)

@kipper1951 @jgpittenger @randystreat @shutterbug49 Belated thanks for your comments on this image with its PS chrome-filter processing; it did turn the image into very water-looking from sand.
