I think I'm becoming obsessed with tulips...the old ones died so I got some new ones, smaller, still closed and just want to keep "working this subject"..even if it's not the same tulip. I've been browsing through the tag "tulips" and trying to come up with some shots I haven't seen there....but there are so many good shots there!
So sorry if I am boring you with tulips! Thanks for your patience.
not boring at all.. don't forget many on this site are spending a whole month taking shots of the same actual object whereas you are getting variety with the changes of colours etc..
i like the abstract-ness of this image, not at all like your other ones.. Which is neither good nor not.. the more we look and experiment with PoV and DoF the more we will learn and become much more rounded and aware.. it is one of my reasons for the March challenge immediately after the month of b&w.. it is all designed to push us out of our cosy little box - but you are doing this on your own.. i'm looking at your photostream and seeing 5 tulip images, all so very different to each other.. not boring, admirable..
@jorlam Thank you so much....glad I am not boring you...and I would find the 30-day one object much more challenging! Although I have saved that idea in my "projects-to-do-one-day" file, right now I'll see how far I can with this project. I am flattered that you would think to use the word admirable. One of my reasons for starting this project was to get me out of shooting what seemed to be the same photograph; this project certainly has done that for me. And I appreciate your encouragement and tips.
