I met Cathy at the garden centre for lunch today.
Not that good a photo as the light was in the wrong place.
I had some sort of cocktail with Wimbledon in its name, it was lovely & refreshing.
I’ve been really spoilt with 20 cards & flowers plus a beautiful dried flower arrangement for the front door.
A pocket travel guide for Venice from Lydia as Cathy & Lydia are taking me for three nights at the end of September this year.
Connie is staying over tonight as Cathy at the Bridgewater Hall for a concert.

Yes aren’t I lucky that they are willing to take me along with them? We have done NY, Rome & this year Venice! As long as I can keep up…..apparently there are lots of steps!!
Venice ...wow that will be amazing Pat , you might need to take your 'big camera' (do you still own one ?). You got a lot of potatoes with your quiche :)
I do like to see the actual lunch on the plate - almost as good as being there! What a great gift - 3 nights in Venice. Venice is always - just round the corner and over the bridge!
Lovely lunch to celebrate your birthday. Lydia and Cathy have prepared a present to you which you will remember throughout your life time. Venice is a magnificent place to visit.
