Can't resist a Pelican ~

Thank you all so very much for your encouraging comments & Favs over the last few days. I have managed to post photos,but, have not been able to comment on your beautiful photos, although I have had quick peeks. I have had surgery to remove varicose veins from my right leg & spent Friday & Friday night in hospital, returning home after lunch on Saturday...All went well, I have compression stockings fitted & must wear them for two weeks day & night, then two weeks every day. I am walking & walking & elevating my leg when I sit down....& am being quite spoiled.....Will comment as soon as possible.

I always think of that rhyme no matter how many times I see them ... what a marvellous bird is the pelican, his beak can hold more than his belly can, I wonder how the hell he can ... great shot and fav :)
