I was browsing around the internet this evening, and for some unknown reason the thought occurred to me that I had a 600mm mirror lens and a 2x teleconvertor, and i had never tried them together. I had a dig around and this is the result.
These are some one penny coins taken from several meters away with a 1200mm lens, hand held. The quality of the output is not great but it is better than I thought it would be. It might be worth trying some in good light and/or with a tripod to see how good it really is.
