The Queen came to Worcester today as part of her Diamond Jubilee tour, and to open 'the Hive' (the new library and local history centre). As I was not busy at lunch time I wandered into town to see what was happening. It was, as expected, packed!
Well, to cut a short story even shorter - this is as close as I got. I did not actually get to see her, but here is an obscured shot of her car as it drove past. You can just about see the Royal Standard on the far left. Oh well. It made a change from the usual lunch times at work.
