I could have posted 20 photos for today, most of which are better than this one, but somehow this is what it was all about.
Ben has wanted to come to Paris to see the Eiffel tower for several years, probably since he first saw Remy look out over Paris in Ratatouille, and we have been promising him a visit but, with one thing or another, it just never happened. Here he is at last, looking happily at the Eiffel Tower from the viewing terrace at the top of Tour Montparnasse.
This was the climax of another long day which had started at the Sacré Cœur and a wander round Montmartre, then went on with a visit to the Salvador Dali Gallery, a quick look at the Moulin Rouge, a wander round the Musée d'Orsay, before ascending the 56 floors up to the viewing terrace of the Tour Montparnasse.
