Day 3 of our treasure hunt week and I have found Broken Transport! My car has spent the day at the garage today getting its brakes fixed. They were almost metal to metal and were verging on dangerous. I intended giving the garage my second set of keys but when I came to drive over they had stopped working so I went out and bought a replacement battery at lunch time, assuming this to be the problem. This evening I tried to replace the battery, but when I opened the key up the micro-switch disintegrated. Some careful work with a pin and some super glue and I think it is now working. These things are never simple!
