It is now nearly 4 weeks since we calved our halloween pumpkin (see http://365project.org/harveyzone/365/2012-10-30). We left it lit outside for several evenings afterwards and it looked great through the back window. Since then I have been intending to transfer it to the compost heap, but somehow never got round to it. It has slowly been decomposing ever since. I think it looks scarier now than it did when we made it.
@ruthhowell@lesip Thank you. I was trying to decide whether I should now try and move it to the compost, or leave it and do another shot in a week or two to see how it ends up, when my wife drove over it. I really will need a shovel to move it now!!!
