Not a successful day for photos! I was late for work and missed the beautiful frosts this morning, and couldn't afford to be any later. Some days you can, and others you can't! It was dark when I got back, so decided to try some action shots of a windmill that Ben had been playing with. I wanted to use second curtain flash to freeze the blades, but with enough ambient light captured to show the movement.
No joy! I just couldn't get it right.
After wasting loads of frames this was the best that I could come up with. No flash involved, just a little rotational movement. I have even had to use black vignette to mask a mistake on the background. Oh well, I quite like the colours, and needs must...
