Doodle a day #101: Ben and I went to a screening of "Something Left Behind", at the Midlands Arts Centre this evening. A documentary about the making of the album George Best by the Wedding Present over 30 years ago. As I contributed to the Kickstarter to help fund it, we were one of many contributors who got our names and photo in the end credits. It is probably the only time either of us will ever get to see our names on the big screen in a film's end credits.
It was quite late when we got back so this is a very quick, scribbley doodle of the photo that I selected to appear in the film. It is of Ben and me after the last concert of the George Best tour in Leeds just over a year ago (and Ben's first real gig) with the empty stage behind us.
