A demonstration 2

Demonstration against the independence of the courts. Our democratically elected government is destroying democracies. We take small steps to a strange land from which we managed to break free 30 years ago!
I couldn't decide which photo to send. I wanted to get great dynamics and a vibration that illustrates the mood of the moment. That's why I sent two shots for evaluation.
I'm not clear where you are in spite of a few clicks to find out. This could be serious!

I much prefer this one. It still has movement, but some details are clearer so that you get a sense of the moment. Troubling times indeed, I have been following story off and on, I believe it may lead to you leaving the EU?

@peadar Thank you, Peter. Time is hard all over the world. Democracy ate itself. We choose the wrong way. Populists are doing well. Nevertheless, I hope that we will not leave the EU.

I agree, I prefer this one as per @peadar Peter's comment. Keep safe!

I prefer this one too. Troubling times, all over at the moment.

@maggiemae polish protest about judicial reforms and "muzzle law" . Basically judges can be punished by the govt if they question court reforms.

@haskar I hope I have that right? Moving photo!

Better this one. Don’t go away! Fav

I like this one too but the other does have emotion-will have to do some research as to what is happening in your part of the world

I do like this one!

Very current photo!
January 12th, 2020
I like this one very moving photo!

I will comment on both here- the first is a little too blurry for me but I get the mood and energy of the demonstration quite clearly. I like that there is some detail on this one but that movement is still visible with the blur. I think the flags stand out better in this one too.

In terms of photos, I think I like this one a bit better. I can see expressions (sad and serious) on the faces of the demonstrators. There is movement without too much blur. Sorry for the upheavals. I believe we are all feeling it. Makes me wonder if history is inclined to repeat itself.

Ditto Peter and Ann and Kathy

Great capture of the demonstration. I like this one better, because the faces are still a little blurry but not as blurry as the other one.

Prefer this one, more sense of motion; keeping my fingers crossed for your democratic
rights 💪

I prefer this one. The other plays with my eyes

The other one seems more of an abstract to convey the mood. In the end, I prefer this one which doesn't quite 'move' as much but simply enough to make your point.

@maggiemae @lmsa @jamibann @dustyloup @caterina @samae @craftymeg @kork @radiogirl @olivetreeann @randystreat @carolmw @momamo @lynnz @jgpittenger Thank you very much for the comments. This comparison allows me to look at both shots more widely. The one more blurred is a souvenir of times gone by. At the time, the pictures did not show faces so as not to facilitate the identification of persons.
