Amorphophallus titanum blooms tonight

For some time now, all flower lovers in Warsaw have been waiting impatiently for this moment. For two weeks now, the bud was fully formed, but it was growing steadily. And today at 03pm the news spread - it started to bloom. The flower stays for a maximum of one day, but it will fool bloom after midnight. I was watching it at 06pm and it was just opening. The first time I saw this flower was here on 365. It's pretty amazing in size but I also remember someone saying the same thing as Kitty- they smell horrible! Too bad because they do look spectacular. Good shot!
