Wintry weather is back after weeks of warm sunshine in April. Today was saucepan-lid grey with an Arctic wind and a steady drizzle of rain. Perfect for Will's first cricket practise of the summer! We went to the garden centre this morning to buy some plants for our big conservatory overhaul. The rainbow colours of these windmills, tastefully arranged in electric blue pots and surrounded with bright purple fake lavender bushes brightened up the dreary morning. For some reason, I wasn't allowed to buy these and bring them home!
well, if you couldn't buy them, it least you could snap a quick pic to share! wonderful, cheery colors! *love* your description of the sky - "saucepan-lid grey"
You framed this so well....whenever I am taking a "sneaky shot" in a store, or outside in the case of a garden center, I am always feeling like a robber or something so I never seem able to frame the shot very well. You did great with this one! Love all the bright colors...and yes, much better than saucepan-lid gray!!!
Thank you for your comment. I had my Race for life today, This was my 1st time doing it, and it was amazing. I`ll most definitely be doing it again. :o)
Thanks for your sweet comment on my mom's pic. She IS pretty special to us. I am loving these bright, festive colors. I would have been drawn to them, too!! Fun shot!
