The snow is a scattering of hawthorn blossom caught in a cobweb that stretches from the tree to the stile. The strands of the cobweb are too fine to show up here. The dogs have run on ahead and Mac and Ed are walking along through the field, drenched by a day of constant rain. The nettles have grown about a foot since last night and Ed is about to get the scythe out and start chopping them down.
I really like this as it is like peeping into your life across the ocean. That is one of the things that I love about 365 - all the people from all over the world. It is wonderful. So, if Ed is going to cut the nettles - all that land must be yours. How wonderful! I live on a little postage stamp!
I love the suspended blossoms! It makes for a lovely photo, and looks so pretty, laid out across the greens. The task of cutting down nettles sounds daunting, but you appear to be a family who like being outside together.
The spider webs capturing and holding the petal blossoms is so pretty and seems almost magic-like since you can't see the spider web in the photo. I love it.
Chopping down nettles sounds like hard work -- good luck with the chopping.
Oh, to have a place like this right outside my door. So beautiful...colors very rich. I read Suzie's comment asking about how much property you have and was wondering the same. I sold my house and now live in a townhouse so I believe my yard is even smaller than a postage stamp! LOL (Yet it's right for me...no more yard work to do every weekend.)
Thanks for your comment on my train track shot. That's the 1st time I ever took a photo of that subject, and b/c I actually did take the photo from my car window with my car stopped right on the tracks, I thought framing it to appear almost like you were looking through a window made sense!
Ooo bet the spider was a bit disappointed with his catch of the day, unless he's a vegetarian! Looks pretty though! Gone right off spiders, there was one wrapping up a bee with it's web, tried to save the bee but couldn't, squashed the spider!
