This evening Ed arrived home after spending a week in Spain on a school exchange trip. He had the most AWESOME time; staying in a lovely appartment, minutes from the beach, the mountains, the old town; sunshine, great food, hanging out with new friends every evening - who wouldn't love it? While I was waiting for his bus to arrive back I picked some blackberries. Tomorrow I will put them in a pie with apples from the orchard. Okay, it's not as good as tapas and paella, but it's the best I can do! The rabbit is on a beautiful jug; one of a colletion I have from a local potter - the boys buy me a piece each christmas and birthday - they all have different animals on them - this rabbit is happy he's not going in the pie too! I'm just happy to have Ed home!
Hasta luego!
Nice, the rabbit on the pot looks like some cake/pie I've had with a doll on it!
These days I only hear blackberry as the little gadget,we don't get them much here, reminds me of my time picking a wild berry in Hamstead Heath and ate it straight away.It scared my friend a bit, haha!
It made me laugh to read that you were worrying half of Cambridge had gone up in flames! lol Always a delight to read your text! ;)
This looks so wholesome and your pie sounds like its going to be yum. Has it been a week already that Ed went away? WOW thats gone quick but then for you it would have dragged. Its great for them to get away on their adventures but great for us when they come back all safe and sound. Rhiannon was at Warwick Castle with the Guides over the weekend so I had my 2 days of worry but she loved it and I loved it when I saw the coach pulling up :)
Nice colors and I like the everyday feel of it. Yum to pie! I bought blackberries at the store this week (though not as nice looking as yours) and I think I ate a whole box by myself.
What on earth would a rabbit be doing in a pie? My rabbit strongly disapproves of this idea! He approves of the photo, however, especially the blackberries! This shot is beautiful! The focus is so sharp I feel like I could just reach in and touch the fruit!
