Out for the evening for the second time in a week - Mac and I went to the theatre in Cambridge to see Morecambe - a one-man show starring Bob Golding, based on the life of Eric Morecambe*. It was very good - both funny and moving, often at the same time.
As everyone streamed out of the theatre towards the car park I turned and took a quick snap; lots of rain to reflect the lights and make the streets look as if paved with gold!
* Eric Morecambe, for anyone non-British and/or born after 1980, was half of the much-loved comedy double act 'Morecambe and Wise', whose TV shows were watched by millions of British families -in the days when there were fewer channels (or sides, as they were once called) than days of the week.
What a lovely late-evening memory of your theater experience. Ken & I are going to the first play of the season tomorrow night at our reperatory theater and the surroundings have wonderful lighting, but I don't want to be seen carrying a camera into the theater. Because we don't often have cameras when we're in the audience, this picture is all the nicer for its uniqueness!
Interesting shot Helen looks very Kafaesque, reminds me of that street in Prague ( yes Dad did tell me to say this but when he did your picture reminded me of the poster Jane got whilst we were there }
