Speedwatch

This morning there was a meeting for volunteers to monitor the speed of traffic through the village. Maybe one day we'll be able to stop people hurtling through at warp speed. We were given a demonstration of how it works. Will was very disappointed to find out it didn't involve speed guns with live ammunition.

LOL I amsure he was. What good idea. Have you all considered speed bumps for traffic calming? Love the forsythea(?) flowering in the background.

@farmboy9155 we're hoping the data we collect from the monitoring cameras will help us in our requests for some kind of traffic calming measures - budgets are so tight we have to fight for it! Yes, you're right the forsythia does looks nice - it grows everywhere here and is just about the first thing to flower at the end of winter - I'd not really noticed how much there was about until I saw this picture

Oh, wow...I just saw the note about your forsythia...spring RALLY must be near!!! And good luck with the speeding cars...don't they know how you like ti bike around town!!! Perhaps paint guns with nasty, messy paint bals in them would slow them down...
