Or...how not to get off a rope swing!
Yesterday Mum posted a picture of me swinging from a rope swing in the beautiful woods near Bircher Common http://365project.org/snowy/365/2011-04-24
Mum was far too kind to take a photo of me upside down in the leaves moments later as I tried to get off and got my foot caught in the rope. Not so my dear husband who managed to catch the entire debacle on camera, as Dad and Will ran to my aid. I wasn't hurt - I'd been trying to get off at the time and having my foot caught up meant that I was lowered gently onto the soft leaves, but there was some unbecoming dangling and spinning upside down and a lot of uncontrollable giggling!
We had a perfect Easter weekend with Mum and Dad in Shropshire - sunshine, BBQs, walks in the woods, croquet on the lawn, tree climbing, swimming with the dogs in the pond, lots of chocolate...bliss!
And your Easter sounds divine...I am going to cross the "pond" next year and come spend Easter at your place :-)
