I went into London and had lunch with my editor - who is not only the best and nicest editor in the history of editing, but is lovely too.
My train arrived at Kings Cross a little early, so I walked along Euston Rd, past the red brick extravaganza of St Pancras Station, where I caught these two businessmen hurrying up the steps. Then I had a quick mooch in the British Library before proceeding to stuff my face on three yummy courses. It was such a nice lunch I got back almost an hour after the money had run out on the parking meter, but to my delight there was no parking ticket. My lucky day!
What a splendid day - glad it didn't go horribly wrong at the end!! I thought this was the Nat History Museum at first - both amazing buildings and I like your focal point on this (see - I've been to classes!)
