Docwra's Manor

The day was grey but there was an hour of sunshine in the evening. I took the dogs for a walk near Shepreth. I'd never walked through the village itself before and was impressed by the beautiful manor with its 17th century ironwork gates. Apparently the gardens are open to look around AND a tearoom has just opened in the old village shop so it is looking like a prime target for the next Ladies Who Lunch (and Walk Their Dogs) expedition. And there is the added bonus of the occasional rainforest sounds of lemurs and monkeys from the nearby wildlife park.
Oh my word - good find Helen!!
