C is for Clues

Off to London for lunch with my agent. Lovely lunch, lovely agent. On the way back to Kings Cross station, stuffed to the gills with writing plans, risotto and crumble, I called in at the British Library to see their exhibit, the A to Z of Crime Fiction.
Three Good Things
1. The taxi drivers in the car park at Cambridge train station this morning who helped me to find a parking space.
2. Being able to say "lunch with my agent" and not wake up to find it was all a dream.
3. The crime fiction exhibition - full of great stuff - this 1930s book, Murder off Miami was one of a series of "crime dossiers" by Dennis Wheatley, which actually contained real clues such as cigarette ends and locks of human hair, so that readers could solve the case from real clues - creepy but cool!
That sounds really interesting - had a walk with Rebecca today - she's just had lunch with her publisher girls - very boozy by all accounts!
