Dress Envy by helenmoss

Dress Envy

I cycled into Cambridge, and spent the day working on my new series proposal in the library - walking through the market I always stop to look at this vintage dress stall on the corner. I was very taken by the blue and red fifties polka dot number - as was this lady in the red coat and purple boots. It was very windy and the skirt of the dress was swirling about as if in the the headless (and possibly pregnant?) mannequin was dancing.
Three Good Things.
Lunch at Bill's cafe (pearl barley risotto - yum!)
The library noticeboard - so many community groups and events - I never join anything but it's great to know they are there if I ever feel the need to learn japanese flower arranging or Spanish guitar.
That is a real splash of vivid colour, the spotty dress is crying out to be bought!!!!

That stall has such nice things - shame I really don't have the figure for most of it as have been sorely tempted in the past ...
