Heffers book shop in Cambridge hosted a Christmas Family Day. A lovely line-up of local children's authors, all reading from their books, signing books, and running activities. I was honoured to officially launch the Giving Tree at the start and to present the prize to the winner of the book mark competition at the end. Wonderful to meet some young readers and to catch up with fellow writers.
(There must be a good collective noun for a group of children's authors. It's not coming to me just now, but will give it some thought.)
