Mum and Dad joined us for the weekend for pre-Christmas festivities as we won't be together on the day. We had a lovely time doing all the Christmassy things; decorating the tree, playing games, eating and drinking far more than we should (another triumph in the kitchen for Mac, although Will and I did contribute with our totally untasteful but very tasty trifle), and of course, pulling crackers. Here Will and Grandma battle for ownership of an unfunny joke and a wire egg cup. Meanwhile Blurry Ed models some witchy gold fingernails fashioned from the casings of the party poppers that have just been fired at the candelabra. The green item on Ed's plate is a wind-up plastic Brussels Sprout (obviously).
Two Christmasses - excellent! I might be tempted if Nigel cooked one of them. I think I NEED a wind up Brussel sprout. In fact I need sprouts full stop at the moment - no sign of any on a stick.... Are you going away for Christmas?
