Since both of my boys were born and raised in southern IL, they are flatlanders! This 5-ft. mound of snow in our front yard from where the town plow cleared our cul de sac Sunday morning has given them some fun times sledding....well, after they shoveled out the mailbox! You all are welcome to come to NH and take as much of it home with you as you want!
@mej2011 Great. Because everything else is pretty much buried in snow right now! LOL! A nice still life .....inside where it's warm! Sounds great to me!
That's ok- although we don't have a 5 foot mound, we have plenty of snow here in PA! Boy does this bring back memories though. We used to build sled runs for our boys at this age too- and now they are doing the same for their sons!
@homeschoolmom I have heard there is a possibility of another storm this weekend- but who knows this far in advance. Safe travels and blessings on your family this Christmas!
@sarasdadandmom@twr Thanks! @olivetreeann Thanks, I'm hoping the weather clears up some. @lafish No! LOL! We're trying to get rid of it! And now, we have 5 inches more on top of that!
@taffy Unfortunately, it's true! LOL! It was more than 5 feet tall when I took this pic. It melted some, but has had more added to it since them. It's currently around 3.5 feet high, but it's snowing again. I think it will be there until May!
(the winter will go faster :)
@joansmor I'd rather have the rocks! LOL! In fact, we have 3 rock retaining walls in our yard!
