Got more snow, so my husband borrowed his friend's snow blower to clean out our driveway. He was trying to widen the path when his friend realized he was blowing the snow up over the rocks and into our landlord's mother's driveway! Ooops!
@shawnasays If we were going to live here more than one winter, we would have to get one. Came in pretty handy yesterday. The first time we got a foot and had to pay someone to plow our driveway.
@cazann@juliedduncan@tracie8266 We've already had over 20 inches this year and it's not even Christmas. And most of it is still on the ground. I'd gladly take the rain.
20 inches! That's a lot! Some years in Carbondale it didn't snow until Christmas or right after. This year they've had an accumulation of 17 inches. We've had 6, the rain's about washed it away, and then the rain should start freezing. What a winter all over!
Great capture. Oops for where it landed. I used to live in Boston and over 2 days we got 12 foot. We were walking on top of trees I had walked beneath that summer. I loved the snow
Whoa that's a lot of snow! I have to share - when I looked at the thumbnail image I thought it was going to be a black and white animal in the snow - imagine my surprise on opening up the image!
@therubysusan I am ready for spring already! LOL! We never had much snow when we lived in IL either. Once we got 12 inches. Shut everything down for almost a week. @digitalrn LOL! He probably needed to do that! @pdulis Yes, it is. And even after two days of temps in the 50s, we will have more than 6 inches of snow and giant piles all over the place. @joansmor Thanks, I'm hoping that ice storm holds off for a while. Heading out of town tomorrow. @sianipops ROFL! That's too funny. @gypsy6 My husband drives into the outskirts of Boston everyday to Tufts University. We are only here a year, so I'm hoping we don't have the opportunity to walk on top of the trees while we are here!
@taffy We had about 18 inches when I took this picture. I'm hoping it has all melted and we haven't gotten any more by the time we get back from Christmas.
@gypsy6 Concord, MA? It is very beautiful there. We actually tried to get housing at Hanscom AFB. We are just across the border in Salem, NH, at least until June.
@homeschoolmom yes Concord ma. I know that base as being a forces brat I notice these things. I know salem too.I stayed at the cabernet inn somewhere in nh
@gypsy6 We almost got housing at Hanscom, but they were full, so we we had to look out around the area. My husband is at Tufts (at the Fletcher School) in Medford for the year. There is not a lot of rentals available in New England and there was a bit of a sticker shock when we looked at housing prices here. Just glad we found a place, so we didn't have to stay in Indiana while he came here. We are really enjoying seeing the area.

@tremerryn Thanks! I took it from the living room window, inside where I was warm and cozy! LOL!
