My grandmother make the Sun Bonnet Sue squares for me when I was born, but never finished the quilt. Last summer, I added to the pieces to make the quilt top. Today, I finally got to quilt it. Because I was freehand quilting with the machine, I put my name and my grandmother's name in the quilting. It just needs the binding around the outside now to finish it.
Seven years and counting, and still enjoying every minute of it, although I don't have as much time to devote to photography as I'd like.
