Maclagon Hall, St Williams College, York

331 - In the upper part of the building on the left hand side of yesterdays shot is Maclagon Hall, and here is a view of the interior of it.

This room is available for hire for functions like wedding receptions, conferences and banquets. As you can see it forms a magnificent backdrop for such events.

William, the portrait on the far wall is a former archbishop of York. Sadly I can't remember which one and an internet search hasn't yet revealed the answer either @will_wooderson

The portrait at the west end of the hall is of William Dalrymple Maclagan, archbishop of York from 1891 - 1908, and after whom this room was named
