Flowers in a very dry environment...

Also taken during last Wednesday's hike. We were surprised to see some flowers. They are tiny.

If the ladies organize another hike coming Wednesday I unfortunately will be able to join again. Don't get me wrong, I love these hikes, but would rather be in quarantine when our oldest, Nadya, is here.

Nadya was supposed to arrive early December. Unfortunately her PCR test turned out positive. And her 2nd test was positive again... She lives with 3 other girls in an apartment. If Nadya had not taken the test nobody would have know they had it. Only one girl had what looked like a cold.

On Monday Nadya will take another, this time a commercial test - results should come within 24 hours and hopefully she can fly on Tuesday - arriving Wednesday late at night.
We are keeping everything crossed and hope that 3x is the charm...
good luck and happy reunion !

I love to see desert flowers or dry area flowers. Seems all the more glorious to see them grow in such conditions
