For the 30 shots I have decided to cheat a little... due to our upcoming move (my ticket is booked for May 15th) there is lots of (paper-) work to be done.
On top of that I went to the camel race on Wednesday and Thursday (March 30 & 31) and I took more than 500 photos... so my calendar will be filled with the camel race. It will also be a nice goodbye to Oman.
Thursday (31/30 was the last day of the racing season and was totally different than the day before. So I will have plenty to show and hope that you will enjoy it too :)
In this photo you can see the camels coming in. The jockeys are robots. The owners have remote controls and watch (and coach - using whip and should in the walkies-talkie) their camel riding along it in their cars.
This will be fun! Robot jockeys?! That’s so amazing. I know you have thoroughly enjoyed Oman and have made friends there too. I hope all your travel plans fall into place!
