Ghost Town--#1 in a Series

This is Kelly, New Mexico, about a two-hour drive from our home in Albuquerque. It is an old mining town. If you stay with me this week, you will be surprised to see it has connections to New York City and Paris!
This is a very nice capture

Don't think I've ever seen a population number on a sign that was this small!

Thanks so much for commenting on my photo of the sign for Kelly, NM, population 2. Kelly is an old mining town that used to have 3,000 residents . It mined silver, lead and zinc carbonate, which is also called Smithsonite, after the same man the Smithsonian institute is named for. It is an ingredient used in paint.
