Gracie got a bow! I don’t know what made the groomer do it, but I’m glad she did. When Mike brought Gracie home from her appointment, I smiled wide. After some hearty cuddling, Amazing Grace leaped onto her favorite blue chair; and with my camera nearby, I couldn’t resist quickly snapping a few shots of my pretty girl with her bow. She turned 2 years old this month. Already. And I’m reminded.
Time is a relentless river. It rages on, a respecter of no one. And this, this is the only way to slow time: When I fully enter time’s swift current, enter into the current moment with the weight of all my attention, I slow the torrent with the weight of me all here. I only live the full life when I live fully in the moment. And when I’m always looking for the next glimpse of glory, I slow and enter. And time slows. Weigh down this moment in time with attention full, and the whole of time’s river slows, slows, slows.

Enter into the current moment with the weight of all my attention — great advice. With eye pressed to viewfinder, I achieve this lofty goal. I get lost in the moment. Time slows. And it's there all along, but it's there that I find it — amazing grace.
I'm seeing this beautiful capture for the first time today (don't know how I missed it) And I love the quote regarding time - I think it's time for me to read One Thousand Gifts again ♥
