It sure didn't look like Winter Storm Izzy loomed. The sun aimed its brilliant rays at the backs of our heads in the sunroom (as it is wont to do this time of year), perhaps trying to make up for the new lack of Christmas lights; and it almost did. The rays shot through the crystal candy dish and cast a brilliant rainbow on my old, cracked crock-turned-flowerpot; and rainbows in winter have a special joy about them, yes? We're expecting eleven inches of snow today, but the sun apparently missed the memo.
But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.
