A lovely afternoon today. Ditched my normal garb of wellies and jeans and put on something a bit smarter to meet a friend whose birthday it is for afternoon tea at a local country house hotel. I don't know why it is but afternoon tea seems like such an indulgent treat. Much more so than lunch or dinner and fittingly much gossiping and gorging on lovely cakes, scones and sandwiches was done. Lovely!
Love the way you have focused on the champers!!!!!!!! I could do with ditching the jeans and willies for a posh tea. Looks lovely, a well deserved break I would imagine. How is your goat?
Something decadent about afternoon tea & even nicer because it is usually a fun spree with girl friends, you can eat as much sweet stuff as you like & not too late home so not watching the clock
