fog and really hard frost all day. Finally got round to fiddling with the white balance on my camera (still not acted on New Year resolution to shoot RAW - why am I so scared? and get lightroom - note to self - must do it soon!)
One of those (rare) days when I had quite a few shots that I was happy with, so, given my new more relaxed rules re fillers for my second year there may be more appearing here soon, especially as Graham and I are arranging and cooking for a 3 course Burns' Night supper for 90 people on Saturday - shopping done, cooking starts tomorrow...
Just off to buy some new tyres for my Landrover - exciting hey?
@jantan i think its great.. have you got some filters your playing with or was this just white balance? it definitely is away from your normal style, much softer.
@markyl No Mark, I just had the white balance set to shade. In the shot I did yesterday where I used AWB the snow was very blue. I got rid of it by de-saturating the blues in PSE, which ended up having quite a nice over all effect, but i looked at a couple of threads on here about photographing snow where I learned about the 'shade' white balance setting. So much to learn still!!
