Bushfires near Kenilworth

We went to the Obi Obi road lookout to see where the plumes of smoke that we could see from Mapleton were coming from. They were still some distance from home and in the vicinity of Kenilworth - about half and hours drive away.

Wonderful view and capture, a pity that fire is creating that beautiful sky.

Oh no and it is only Spring. I do hope we aren't in for a bad bushfire season.
