After 8 years in Mapleton we only found this waterfall and pool a few mintues drive down the hill today. It is often called the 'hidden waterfall'. We are probably too old for waterfalls anyway, but this is a short (up and down) walk and all went well until John got his sandals caught up in tree roots and ended up back first in a water and rock filled hole yelling out 'take the phone'. So I rescued the phone, and then John! Looking back - I should have taken a photo with the phone - then rescued him! His leg did come up with a big bump, but it is subsiding now and he'll probably wear his walking boots the next time.
