I've been wanting to try a panorama now that I have photoshop and this is my first attempt. I used 5 bracketed shots merged in HDR and then used the 3 resulting shots to create a pano. I can see there is a lot to learn and would welcome suggestions.
Thanks for taking the time yesterday to give me your opinions re the different moons. I ended up doing yet another edit of it which I am planning to print and use for the hanging. And thanks for all your time, visits, comments, suggestions, favs
Wow, Jane, this is gorgeous. There must have gone a tremendous amount of work and skill into this pic. I feel totally out of my depth to comment here! I do think that you have achieved a very good and constant hue and exposure throughout. Due to your POV and angle, it seems that the bridge is slightly curving to the right, but I suppose that it is inevitable with this kind of pano. If you would have used a wide angle lens (and cropping to get the pano effect), you would have ended up with other perspective aberrations, so all in all, I'd say this is perfect!
@ericdibosco you are right re the right curving. This was taken with a WA lens...wonder if I would have avoided the curve if I'd used a less WA focal distance. Thought provoking. Guess I'll be going back!
I sort of like the perspective quirks, but that's just me. On my screen it looks like it could be pepped up a little by making it a bit lighter. Once again, it could just be the difference in our screens, or the changes made by uploading to this site.
