Best viewed on black. I returned here to see if I could shoot the Milky Way. This is taken from a lower vantage spot than I took the photo in my main album. The tide was way too low to get Thor's Well spouting and the clouds were thick. (When I got back home, a mere 20 miles South of here, the sky was filled with stars and not a cloud in sight!). The lights on the horizon are crab boats pulling and setting their traps. I will be back some clear night when the tide is higher.
