@jgpittenger Thank you SO much for posting this one as well, Jane. I am still trying to work out for myself when to use colour and when to change to B&W...it really helps a lot to see what experienced photographers do. Although this picture is beautiful in it's own way, I can fully understand why you preferred to place the B&W version: the dunes, which make up 2/3s of the picture, are actually quite monotonous in colour. In the B&W, on the other hand, there are so much contrasts that the foreground does not lose any interest. Well chosen, I would say!
