The other day when I posted a picture from up in the hills on the other side of town a friend said he hadn't seen the hills in my picture before. I admitted that I had not taken pictures from that perspective before. But actually those hills seen in the background of that picture have been seen in pictures of mine before because I live on those hills. Snowing here again today (see Pete no pretending there's no snow in my town). So you can't see the hills on the other side today. This picture was taken two streets over from my house.
Unless you have been busy with the white paint Joan, Suspect the residents wouldn't be very happy though. This is a nice shot Joan, I like the lines taking you down the street. Hopefully those trees will soon have leaves for you.
This is my favourite of the two, and whilst I know that you're fed up with the snow... it does impart a certain fairy-tale quality to this view. Nice shot - I could happily live there.
@vignouse We have a saying in Maine "if you can't take the winter you don't deserve the summer" I hope I deserve my summer. I am so lucky 1/2 hour to the beach, 1 hour to mountains. 2 hours to Boston, and a walk to the River. I am so anxious to show everyone my part of the world this spring.
@silverhorn Only someone who hasn't lived with it all winter would make a comment like that. LOL The dusting we had covered up the dirty frozen edges that become the norm late in the season.
