Gave up on my unsuccessful white on white today. I am being super lazy. So posting a picture of my grandniece, Chelsea, with her nephew, Jace. This was actually taken Thanksgiving day at my nieces house (which was my parents home).
So sweet! I love that I always have my camera out and that everyone in the house (except Jackson) is used to having a camera pointed at them. These two look very comfortable with their GrandAuntie photographer. Illustrates the great familial relationship. I like the tree white on white photo, btw. It was really good!
I like the low PoV, that and the tight framing create a sense of intimacy which seems fitting in a family portrait. I don't particularly dislike it, but what made you choose to desaturate the background?
@vignouse Because all the cups were too distracting in my opinion and this is a technique I learned in scrapbooking to neutralize so to speak a busy background. Sometime I only blur it but this time I didn't like the colors. Just a personal thing.
