Sorry still busy with work. Woke up at 2 am convinced I couldn't get everything done. Fell back to sleep around 3 after a cup of cocoa. Now tonight I have accomplished more than I had hoped and think I can make it so hopefully I will sleep better. Oh, but I also got another assignment. Take pictures of the new show room to show the directors. UGH I'm not an interior type of photographer. Wish me luck and if any one has hints I would love to receive them.
@joansmor You know how: camera on a tripod at waist level; use the widest angle lens you have, taking care that the camera is level and the focal plane is vertical; set the ISO low (100); aperture at F16; use the ambient lighting; use mirror lock-up or, preferably Liveview; use manual focussing using the magnify facility to help you get it spot-on; use your remote release to fire the shutter; take several shots of each PoV for safety... Charge for your work, it's not part of your job - Good Luck!
What a sweet bird and what a great capture. You'll do a tremendous job and they'll keep asking you to do more and more. My hint? Say no thanks next time (unless you love doing this). Have fun!
I first commented on this in the (very) early hours of yesterday morning from my iPad; I've now had a chance to look at this on my 27" monitor and it does look good - especially viewed on black. The pose of the little Cardinal is rather comical and the colour splashed background is excellent... I'm adding it to my list of Favs.
I love the way the cardinal is checking you out! Great lighting, catch light, and pops of red. I also envy your background. Certainly something I would like to strive to do!! I was surprised to see that you have a photo taking work assignment! Good luck!! I feel for you with your workload.
Good luck with the photoshoot, don't have any advice though sorry.
