I took my car in early for service. What a morning! Became a big deal because of a couple of recalls and a simple light that almost cost me $800. I thought my BP would be through the roof when I went to the doctors. But actually had 1 1/2 for photography and my BP was good. So that's the trick. Lose weight, exercise more - yep figured that out myself and am working on it. Loved this shot taken at the Back Cove but the sky was too blue because I think of the polarizing filter I used to work with all the WHITE. So did this bw (with blue tones and loved it). Hope you like it. No snow two days in a row, YEAH!
Nice capture! Looks good in black and white. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather- I was actually out walking more when I could go shoot pictures.
Your high contrast processing has given this a rather brutal look, which I imagine is the emotion you were trying to convey... the grimness and inhospitability of the winter weather. It certainly looks chilly!
Do you find the polarizing filter helps with taking Winter snow pictures? How does it effect the light? They have been recommending a neutral density filter in the camera setting challenges.
This is very nice, by the way. The lamp post adds nice foreground interest, and provides great scale. I'm really impressed with the clarity and sharpness captured from this distance!
@gratefulness I don't have the neutral density filter yet, I had my polarizing lens on to cut the sun so in that condition it helped. Would like to get a nd lense.
Esp like the wispy clouds!
