Popovers & Acadia by joansmor

Popovers & Acadia

These things do go together. For several years you had to go to the Jordan Pond House in the afternoon and have popovers. Then the Government hired a new vendor. The original vendors now manage the Asti could Inn and service their famous popovers. And the view is lovely. Thanks for taking my bell to pp.
This looks wonderful - nicely captured!

@olivetreeann After eating them a few times in Acadia I decided to learn to make them. I even now have a popover pan.

@vignouse Light lunch and breakfast but still not a really healthy choice but one of those rare treats in Maine. Probably not in France.

Love the colors and the content! "Popovers" are a mysterious entity to me, known from childhood books as a delicacy, but never seen (until NOW!!) Looks like a muffin of some sort.

@francoise Its like Yorkshire pudding - all hollow in middle. They puff up like balloons.
