A foggy Christmas eve afternoon at Spring Point Light. by joansmor

A foggy Christmas eve afternoon at Spring Point Light.

Leaving work on Thursday at 1 pm. I had to decide if I wanted to go along the coasts for photos or head straight home. I decided to start along the coast and got a few shots before the fog got to thick. I have been playing with a demo version of Nik Collection and will probably bore you with my repeated attempts. This was one done in Silver Efex with one filter before I learned how to use more than one (in color efex) and how to use points.
Great processing on this lighthouse!

The white vignette gives it a sense of a forgotten memory. Nice processing.

Not an easy walk out here to the lighthouse but good that you got some figures to show the proportions! Fabulous photo! fav

LOVE this shot! Didn't realize Silver Efex let you use more than one filter! How do you do that?

fantastic shot.
Hi Joan, I'm your get-pushed partner for this week and your challenge is to take long exposure/light painting shot.

Wonderful processing and composition; this makes a beautiful scene! fav!

I can do a long exposure but afraid I have no way of doing light painting. Not going outside alone at night in this cold weather to do light painting Maine is finally getting very cold with snow coming tomorrow.
