Get Pushed Pano by joansmor

Get Pushed Pano

@hookandy challenged me to do a pano. This is probably not what he had in mind. But I was up early and decided to dash out and on the hill to show my neighborhood. This was taken on my block but on the street parallel to mine only on the backside. You can see here the mills that you often see on the other side when I shot at #1 pond such as the one here http://365project.org/joansmor/two-nature/2016-01-03 . Then there is the tv/cell tower on the hill which I featured on http://365project.org/joansmor/365/2016-02-21 . Lastly is the smoke stack which you see in several of my pictures and is featured here http://365project.org/joansmor/extras/2015-02-08 . I am thinking this might give you an idea how close several of my favorite places really are. Those hills across town were where many of my early winter pictures were take. Not an exciting picture but I liked having it in my project because it is a view of my neighborhood.
@hookandy here is my panorama

So excited, we are Get Pushed partners this week. I'm in MN on my phone, so I can't browse too much. But I think I will challenge you to highlight the color black and the number 19, in honor of my daughter's birthday this week. Not black and white, in color, any subject you wish. Good luck.

What a neat idea on how to present this panorama!

@homeschoolmom An interesting challenge I will have ti give it some thought. If you are in MN long enough I want a picture that screams MN. If you get home first then a picture that is not one you would ever see in MN or NH.

@homeschoolmom When we are joined up it is so easy to come up with a challenge because we know each others project without looking. I think we are among the old timers on this challenge.

What a lovely view, it looks like a beautiful neighborhood.

Hi Joan, I think it is really interesting to see a neighbourhood shot. These are areas that are often overlooked because they are so ordinary to us, but of course to those of us from far away they are exotic, and to people in the future too they will be fascinating.

With all those bare trees, it must look really different in summer. Great pano.

Nice to see the bigger picture Joan, and you're right, I hadn't realised that some of your regular subjects were so close both to you and to each other. There is too a feeling of community in this which I rather like.

@vignouse I did this pano just for this reason. I love when you have taken pictures from your neighborhood and explained were these are in relationship to your house. When you go on the group walks I always wonder if you have to drive to the area or if you can walk there. We get so curious about the people we follow all the time. I think I am lucky to live in an area where I can wonder and find wonderful pictures without getting more than 1/2 hour from my home. The beaches are a little farther away and require more time.

@888rachel It won't be long before all you will see is the trees and the streets. When the leaves drop in the fall we always notice some new construction that was started during the summer.

@joansmor That works. MN is the land of 10,000 lakes. I'll see what I have that fits that bill.
